Admittedly I don't have all the knowledge, but by linking like minded individuals with similar illnesses and concerns, we could pool our resources and build a useful and helpful site for sharing what worked and what didn't. I quickly realized that first we had to find a common ground and offer some initial information on various topics. We started our specialty pages on topics that a wide variety of patients might need help with. Each speciality page has both the Federal Government's MedPlus link to the US National Library of Medicine and the popular and growing Wikipedia Encyclopedia of current information. In order to help patients, we sorted through the millions of sites that can be found with the help of web browsers, and chose sites we felt were truly helpful and arranged them by easy to understand topics. In addition we offer a chance for you to add your own personal experiences with the help of Wiki-media, and added health care 'topic specific' Wiki pages. Each speciality page has an attached Wiki page for you to share your stories and for others to add their own on the similar topics.
